Children’s Corner for May 23, 2021

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are all doing well and are finding some time to spend outdoors as the weather gets warmer.

The children’s story this week is found within the larger worship service which is found on the main page starting at 5:25. (You can click here to start the video at the children’s time).

Today we are remembering the story of when the Holy Spirit arrives like fire and wind and the disciples head out into the world to proclaim the good news about Jesus.

So this week there is a craft which reminds us of the Holy Spirit and all the gifts that we are given.

Pentecost Pinwheel Craft

  1. Begin with a square of paper.
  2. Colour the paper red and yellow and if you want put on the good things we can do for others
  3. Fold your square, corner to corner, then unfold.
  4. Make a pencil mark about 1/3 of the way from center.
  5. Cut along fold lines. …
  6. Bring every other point into the center and stick a pin through all four points. (if you are having trouble check out here for pictures to go with each step)

Remember too to be patient and kind to each other, and to help out as we continue to stay at our homes to keep everyone safe.

Take Care and Stay Well,

Rev. Peter
