x CHILDREN’S WORSHIP 0329

MARCH 29, 2020 LENT 5

Hi Everyone.

This week’s children’s worship is quite similar in format to last week. There is a video for the children which tells the story of Ezekiel and his vision of the Valley of Dry Bones.

Then there is a wonderful craft suggestion from Bronwen and her family including pictures of some finished crafts. If people want to email pictures of their finished crafts I’d love to put them on the website for everyone to see!

For the past two weeks I have spoken about the need for us to pray and have heard back that some of the children wanted help with that. May has sent along a wonderful sheet for children to colour and put together with pictures on it. After you cut them apart use them to help remember who we can be praying for!

There is as well this week a link to a package of material from Children’s Illustrated Ministry which they are making available to us free of charge. This week’s package is on Psalm 130 and has lots to colouring and some things you can talk about. I have done these with Hope the last two weeks and have enjoyed both the activities and the time together (although it took all of us to finish the word search!)

At the bottom is a link to last week’s Children’s Worship Page and a link to more activities which our storytellers and doorkeepers have offered as ways to help in these long days.

Take Care and Stay Well,

Rev. Peter

CHILDREN’S TIME FOR

THIS SUNDAY

I Wonder Questions:
I wonder what Ezekiel felt when he saw all those dry bones?
I wonder what Ezekiel thought when God told him to talk to them?
I wonder what Ezekiel felt when things started to come together?
I wonder why God have this vision to the prophet?
I wonder what people think when they hear this story?

(Thanks to Bronwen and Family!)

Begin by tearing some paper into thin strips.  Make a big messy pile of these strips.

Then, using black paper and a white crayon (or any colour you choose!), trace around your hand.

Put your bones together by gluing the torn paper to your hand print.  Add the verse to remind us how we can bring our hands to life to do God’s work to help those around us!

PRAYER PROMPTS

Wondering how to remember who you should be praying for? May has sent along this sheet of prayer blocks. Simply colour them, cut them apart, match the words to the pictures, and glue them together. Each of the pictures helps us remember someone we can be praying for during this time!
