CHILDREN’S WORSHIP 0503

May 3, 2020 Fourth Sunday of Easter

Hi Everyone,

This Sunday is Shepherd Sunday and our readings are about Jesus being the good Shepherd and the story is silly one about trusting a voice you know.

Then there is a craft suggestion from Bronwen and her family including a picture of a finished craft. If you haven’t already done it I’ve included May’s suggestion about footprints

As well this week I have included a link to a package of material from Children’s Illustrated Ministry which they are making available to us free of charge.

At the bottom is a link to last week’s Children’s Worship Page and a link to more activities which our storytellers and doorkeepers have offered as ways to help in these long days.

Take Care and Stay Well,

Rev. Peter

CHILDREN’S TIME FOR

THIS SUNDAY

I Wonder Questions:
I wonder why the dog wouldn’t go when my parents told her?

I wonder why the dog left only left when she heard the voice on the phone?

I wonder why Jesus says we will recognize his voice?

I wonder what it means that Jesus is the Good Shepherd?

.Create a shepherd’s staff with the words of the 23rd Psalm. In our house we used pieces of old calendars or you can use construction paper or paint, or other interesting materials that help you think about the words and images of the Psalm.

To remember the that we follow the Good Shepherd cut out your foot prints. You can colour them with crayons or markers and (with a parents permission and supervision) if you have paint you can step in the paint then onto paper.  Hang the footprints on the fridge, a wall, or somewhere else to remember that we are walking with Jesus and Jesus is walking with us!

The link below is for the Fourth Week of Easter and includes:
