CHILDREN’S WORSHIP 0614

June 14, 2020 Second Sunday After Pentecost

Hi Everyone,

This Sunday we are talking about the story of Jesus sending the disciples out into the world as apostles. I have a great visual to help us remember the difference between disciples and apostles and why we are meant to be both.

There is a craft suggestion from Bronwen to help us remember and give thanks for the growth around us and the growth we experience when we learn and show the love of God!

There is a word search below that with some of the names of the first disciples and apostles to follow Jesus. See if you can find them all!

At the bottom is a link to last week’s Children’s Worship Page and a link to more activities which our storytellers and doorkeepers have offered as ways to help in these long days.

Take Care and Stay Well,

Rev. Peter

CHILDREN’S TIME FOR

THIS SUNDAY

I Wonder Questions:
I wonder how the disciples felt as they saw Jesus helping people?

I wonder what the disciples thought when Jesus said they were to go out into the world and do all the things he asked?

I wonder why Jesus sent his followers out to teach?

I wonder what each of us can do to share the good news of Jesus?

A seed reminds us of the promise of new life. At this time of year many of us are planting seeds and looking forward to fresh vegetables or beautiful flowers. This week, make your own flowers with seeds by making a seed mosaic.
