June 14, 2020 – Second Sunday After Pentecost

GOD BRINGS US TOGETHER
Prelude Spirit of Gentleness Martha Palmer
Call to Worship (Isaiah 42:1b-2)
God says “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by name, you are mine.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire you shall not be burned,
and the flame shall not consume you.”

Prayer of Approach (together)
God of this and every day,
open our hearts that as we gather for worship
we might hear your word, know your love, experience your grace,
and see not merely what is but what you can bring about.
For we come as your people separated by circumstance
but united by the grace of Christ, Amen.
