Your Social Justice Collective reminds you that the 28th is the National Day of Mourning (Workers). We remember workers who have died, were injured, or became ill from their job. We commit to protecting workers and preventing further workplace tragedies. And please note that 3 May is World Press Freedom Day – observed to raise awareness of the importance of freedom of the press and to remind governments of their duty to respect and uphold the right to freedom of expression – a right that globally is becoming increasingly eroded.
