May 10, 2020 – Fifth Sunday of Easter

Call to Worship (1 John 4:7)
Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God;
everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.

Prayer of Approach (together)
Loving God, as we gather together for worship
we’re aware of our worries, our regrets, our concerns
and everything else that is filling our lives.
Calm our busy minds and frantic thoughts
and open our hearts to hear again the good news
of Jesus Christ for our lives and for our world, Amen.

A warm welcome to everyone who is joining us for worship. May this

The prayers and Christian sympathy of the congregation are extended
to the family and friends of Dr. James Carson who died earlier this
month. A service for Jim will be held at a later date. Please keep his
family, friends, and the folks at Highland Crest in your thoughts and
prayers during this time.

Our prayers are with the fishing fleet who will soon be heading out for
this season. May it be a safe season for all who head out onto the waters to provide for their families and our communities.
