The Social Justice Collective reminds you that the 10th is Human Rights Day. It commemorates the day in 1948 that the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which starts out “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.”

Rev. Tasha Brubaker is inviting interested people from St. James and the Parish of Three Harbours to read the book “Listening to the Music of the Soul” by Bishop Guli Francis-Dehqani and to have a conversation on the book on Monday, December 22, 7 pm , at St. Paul’s with hot drinks and some treats. The book is available for purchase online in both hard copy and e-book formats.
