St James Pancake Breakfast is happening July 12. It is very popular Highland Games event. We are looking for volunteers to assist in getting ready for the event on July 10th-11th and on July 12th at the event. The Social Justice Collective asks you to note World Population Day, which is Friday, July 11th. Observed annually, it marks the anniversary of when the global population first reached 5,000,000,000 in 1987. The projection is that this year the world’s population will reach 8,231,613,070. The 2025 focus is “adapting to rapid population growth while ensuring sustainability.
Keppoch Concert 2025 The Ships of 1801 is pleased to announce their eleventh original show entitled “ Keppoch Goes To The Fall Fair” The folks on the Keppoch have been asked to provide an hour of entertainment at the local Fall Fair and they are very pleased . However the folks on Eigg Mountain get wind of the request and they are upset because in their opinion they should have been the ones asked. So the Eigg Mountain folks visit the Keppoch to find what went wrong. Lots of music, humour and sarcasm follow. Shows July 3rd-6th at Schwartz Auditorium 7pm. Cape George Lighthouse concert Sunday, July 6, 2025 from 6pm until 8pm, Music by The Local Joes, Bring a lawn chair as seating is limited. Parking available on the grounds, Admission $15.00, children under 12 years free, Door Prize Some food and good Music.
AIRS FOR ABOVE You are invited to an evening of music , culture and heritage. Monday, July 7th – Airs for Above at St. Ninian Cathedral hosted by the Foundation. All proceeds for this concert will support the painted ceilings restoration of this cherished landmark.
