On July 1st celebrate Canada Day – a day to reflect on what it means to be Canadian, to share what makes us proud, and to celebrate in our own way. This pride is reflected in as many ways as there are Canadians. Canada Day highlights the richness of our land, our diversity, our culture, our contributions, but above all, our people. Be proud, wear white and red, and wave the flag! Also note July 5th is the International Day of Cooperatives – the United Nations’ General Assembly has declared this the International Year of Cooperatives, celebrated under the theme “Cooperatives Build a Better World.” which highlights the enduring global impact of cooperatives, and positioning the cooperative model as a key solution for addressing numerous global challenges.
St James Pancake Breakfast is happening July 12. It is very popular Highland Games event. We are looking for volunteers to assist in getting ready for the event on July 10th-11th and on July 12th at the event.
