There are no specific Social Justice events on this week’s calendar, so let’s highlight the admirable work of the Antigonish VON, a charitable organization offering volunteer support programs designed to help seniors and the disabled. Services such as Meals on Wheels and Assisted Transportation enable seniors to remain in their own homes and community in a healthy, safe and comfortable environment. Donations are used to support these programs. (902) 863-5700
