Please keep Dave, Jeniffer, Adam, Ashley, Marilyn, Wayne and all of Joyce’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Visitation is 2-4, 7-9 on Wednesday May 6th CL Curry Funeral Home. The funeral for Joyce is on Thursday, May 7 at 2pm at St. James.

Today is both World Press Freedom Day and the United Church’s Mental Health Day. The former highlights the vital role of journalism in protecting democratic values and fostering informed societies. It is a call to action to protect journalists, combat misinformation, and empower the press to continue its indispensable work in shaping a better future for all. Now more than ever we need to be vigilant about ongoing attempts to muzzle the press around the world. The latter is a way for us to begin or continue to provide education and support to our members around mental health challenges. Please read the full bulletin insert.
