The prayers and Christian sympathy of the congregation is extended
to the family and friends of Pearl Jordan who died earlier this week.
Pearl’s funeral will be Wednesday, November 13th at 11:00 am here at St.
James with visitation Tuesday 2:30-6:30pm at CL Curry Funeral Home.. Please
keep her children, grandchildren and all of the family in your thoughts and
prayers during this time.

Tomorrow is Remembrance Day. It is not a glorification of war, it is a
time to honour those who fought, and in some cases, gave their lives, to
serve our country and preserve freedom for the rest of us. In addition to
our service here today, the main Antigonish service will be held at 10:45
am at Columbus Field. The 16th is the International Day of Tolerance.
Tolerance is respect, acceptance and appreciation of the rich diversity of
our world’s cultures, our forms of expression and ways of being human.
Tolerance means that you accept other people’s opinions and
preferences, even when they live in a way that you don’t agree with.
