On Friday 6 September at the People’s place library at 1:30 pm there will be a conversation on “Nonviolent Economy”- what it looks like and how it can be peace promoting to both people and the plant? There will be presentations by peace activists and Gandhian leaders from India.
On Sat, 7 September there is a conference on Basic Living Income Guarantee in Halifax which you can join by Zoom.
Also on Sat 7 September Peace Walk at 11:00 am at the Coady and going to the Peace Pole in the St. Martha’s Centennial Garden. Light lunch and presentations by peace educators and leaders to follow at Bethany Resource Centre.
“Seniors for Climate.” There next meeting is Tues, 3 Sep at the library at 5:30pm And they will be holding a “rally for climate change” on International Day for Older Persons, Tues, 1 October. There will be more information forthcoming!
