The prayers and Christian sympathy of the congregation are
extended to the family and friends of Mora Wilson who died earlier this
week. Please keep her siblings, friends, and colleagues at St. Martha’s
Hospital in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 31st from 10-12pm with the
memorial service to follow at 1pm at C.L. Curry Funeral Home.

family in your prayers during this time. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 28 from 7-9pm
and 2-4. 7-9 on Thursday, January 29th at MacIsaac Funeral Home. Funeral is
Friday, January 30th at 11 am at St. James United Church.

The Social Justice Collective asks us all to commemorate International
Holocaust Remembrance Day
on the 27th. Also known as the
International Day in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust, it is a
memorial day commemorating six million Jewish Holocaust victims, the
result of the genocide of one-third of the Jewish people along with
countless numbers of other minority groups, (homosexuals, Romas,
people with disabilities, etc), by the Nazis between 1933 and 1945 – an
attempt to implement its “Final Solution” to the Jewish question. It is
important that we pray that such atrocities stop occurri
