Today is International Women’s Day! The theme this year is “Give To Gain”, which calls for an attitude of generosity, collaboration and shared progress highlighting reciprocity: when individuals, organizations and communities invest in women – opportunities expand, systems strengthen and societies thrive. The 14th is the United Church’s National Affirming / PIE Day. PIE = Public. Intentional. Explicit. These are the standards we hold ourselves and our welcome to, as affirming and inclusive communities.
